Extremely attractive Table Snuff Box with interesting inscription.

                   London 1819-20, possibly by Wm. Eley  

 The inscription reads: "Presented to Mr. Henry Drury by the Committee for Conducting the Election of W. Alderman Bridges, as Lord Mayor of London in September 1819.  as a Testimony of his Able and Zealous Services in the Discharge of the Arduous duties of Secretary to the Said Committee. Sir C. Price, Bart., , Chairman "  

'Although this is the nicest Table Snuff Box we have ever had, it has sustained damage where, evidently, a child had banged it against a stone or something.  The photos show this damage to the base and back below the hinge.  The box has been priced accordingly.'
